The akins classifier is widely used in the concentrator to classify mineral sands combining with ball mills to form a closed circuits process, and used in gravity concentrator to grading ore and fine mud as well as the desliming, dehydration and other operations in washing operation. The machine has a simple structure, reliable operation and easy to operate.
Akins classifier makes mechanical classification of materials according to the principle that different proportion of solid particles has different precipitation rate in the liquid. It can filtrate the material powder grinded by mill, and then screw the crude materials in mill feed inlet by rotary vane and so that the fine materials are discharged from the overflow tube. The machine base is made of U-steel and body is welded by steel plate. The shaft head of spiral shaft adopts pig iron, wear-resistant and durable; lifting appliance can be divided into electric type and manual type.
